A must by. The activator belt helped progress my athlete through what can often be difficult drill to coach which fast leg drill. After 40 minutes on the belt both the athlete and i could see noticeable difference in front side mechanics and ground contact/foot placement.
I purchased a couple activator belts near the end of last season to test out with my sectional roster sprinters. The kids loved using the belts. It provided a great stimulus and feedback during drills. Our frosh hurdler broke the school record and qualified for our state meet in the 110h. If they have less than ideal mechanics, they will STRUGGLE. If they are not as strong as they need to be, they will STRUGGLE. But it gives you as a coach more information, and with that information progress can be made. My athletes have been able to feel, and I can observe, the difference in literally a week.
